God Remembers Small Things: Short Take

A few days ago I was in a service and someone offered me a bottle of water. Does not sound like that big of a deal but it really blessed me. It was not this persons job to offer water to guests. They went out of their way to offer it. It was not just the water. It was the kindness behind the water that grabbed me. God remembers those small things we do to bless others. He values small things done from a heart of gratitude towards Him. In reality they may seem small but are not small to God. Made me think of a few things God does not forget.

1. An act of kindness
2. Giving out of your need
3. Becoming the servant of those around you
4. Saying thank you
5. A word of blessing

And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is my disciple, I tell you the truth, he will certainly not lose his reward.” Matthew 10:42
