How Big is God?

So how big is the creator of the universe. Is He big enough to help with my problems? Is He big enough to take care of me? Often we get caught in our own problems, cares and worries and forget God is bigger than everything we face or ever will face combined. If He can count every star and name them all. He is more than able to help me overcome.

Psalms 147: 4 He counts the number of the stars;
He gives names to all of them.

and

Isaiah 48 says,
13 My own hand laid the foundations of the earth,
and my right hand spread out the heavens;
when I summon them,
they all stand up together.

He is not limited like we are He is more than capable. He made the earth, the stars, the universe we live in. We just need to turn to Him every day and He will help us where we cannot help ourselves.

Let’s get some perspective on the greatness of God.

The largest known star is VY Canis Majoris (there are probably larger); a red hypergiant star in the constellation Canis Major, located about 5,000 light-years from Earth. University of Minnesota professor Roberta Humphreys recently calculated its upper size at more than 2,100 times the size of the Sun. Placed in our Solar System, its surface would extend out past the orbit of Saturn.

Light takes more than 8 hours to cross its circumference! To put that in perspective it takes light 8 minutes to travel from our sun to the earth. It would take over 7,000,000,000,000,000 (7×1015 or 7 quadrillion) Earths to fill the volume of VY Canis Majoris.

Yet God holds it all in His hands.

Watch the video below to see just how big the star is compared to other objects. It will blow your mind and make your problems seem a lot smaller. Gives a whole new meaning to understanding God as the creator of all.
